Community Projects

CorCordi supports local and international initiatives to improve access to good quality healthcare and education. CorCordi does not wish to limit the reach of its activities to a particular region or community.

CorCordi supports Room to Read, an award-winning international nonprofit organisation focused on literacy and gender equality in education, in their quest to provide educational opportunities to millions of children in the developing world.

Room to Read has educational projects in 9 Asian and African countries:
Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Laos, Nepal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Zambia. The organisation builds schools and libraries, publishes local language children’s books, develops literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and supports girls to complete secondary school.

Since we believe that education is the key to change the world, we decided to fund a year of secondary education of a girl in Zambia with a plan to renew our support every year. As CorCordi continues to grow, we envisage to increase our support for Room to Read and to extend it to other initiatives around the world.

If you would like to learn more about Room to Read and their projects or if you wish to support Room to Read, please go to www.roomtoread.org.

CorCordi is actively seeking partners to engage with it in community projects aimed at benefiting those with severely limited access to adequate healthcare and education.

CorCordi welcomes all prospective partners who share CorCordi’s vision of promoting international understanding and building a better world in accordance with CorCordi’s core values of truth, justice, respect, trustworthiness, caring, responsibility and integrity.
